In 1976, the People of Praise music ministry recorded this album “to express musically the wide range of our prayer experience: ringing joy, longing devotion, heartfelt petition, peaceful adoration… hoping only that the praise of God may increase and multiply to fill the whole earth.” The album provides a window into the community’s worship at that time, featuring music from a variety of sources, contemporary and traditional, charismatic and folk hymn, with a few written by community members.
