In 1976, while the People of Praise was recording the “Come, Lord” album, the Servants of the Light community in the Twin Cities area recorded this album. The purpose was essentially the same: to share musically what God was doing in their community and spread the praise of his glory. Many of the songs were written or arranged by men and women who eventually joined the People of Praise, in what became the Servant Branch, seven years later
